Join the MIT Portugal Partnership 2030 (MPP2030) for the annual conference, held this year in Ponta Delgada, Azores. This year’s conference title is: “The Atlantic as a platform for science and technological impact.” It will feature world-renowned speakers, networking opportunities, and a poster session.

The 2019 MIT Portugal Annual Conference sets a special milestone because we’re the first international partnership to hold an event of this nature in the islands, and also because the Azores represent a strategic element in the 2030 vision of the MIT Portugal Program.

Our goal for the MPP2030 Conference is to gather a wide group of participants from MIT; Portuguese national institutions (academic, research, and industry); and the Azores in the hopes of involving the island community more deeply in our international partnership.
