Portuguese Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation participates in MIT Portugal Innovation Workshop

Portugal’s Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, visited MIT on June 3-4, 2024, to participate in a workshop that hosted 32 Portuguese students. The MIT Portugal Innovation Workshop was a hands-on program designed to expose participants to critical elements of venture creation and the potential commercialization of high-impact research and technologies. Participants had the opportunity to learn and interact with experts from the MIT ecosystem and successful entrepreneurs who shared their insights on critical skills for translating research to entrepreneurial impact through interactive seminars and activities designed to help participants apply their learning to their own ideas, technologies, and research. >> Read full article
